SALUKARA (Rice Crepe) is a native delicacy of Eastern Samar. It is a cross between a hotcake, bibingka and puto. It looks like a hotcake but taste like a bibingka or puto. It's best served for breakfast.
2 ½ kilos ground rice
2 cups coconut milk (
2 or 3 cups of water (depend of the cup size)
2 ½ cups sugar
1 glass tuba (yeast or baking powder can be)
1.Mix the ground rice together with of the ingredients and set aside for 6-7 hours.
2.Heat the pan on low fire,grease with cooking oil then pour the mixture with your desired size of salukara.
3.When the topis already cooked,remove from pan,no need to turn it over.Each salukara is cooked for4-5 minutes.
4.Then,serve it hot and yummy.
